Good Evening Everyone,

It has been another very busy week in Year 1. The children all looked amazing in their World Book Day costumes yesterday. In the afternoon, the children had the opportunity to visit Year 3 to share their favourite books with an older child. They read a book together and also wrote about their favourite book character. It was so lovely to see the Year 1’s and 3’s celebrating books together. The children also enjoyed their visit to Christ Church, where they learnt more about ‘Baptism.’ The church’s Vicar used a doll to show the children what happens during a baptism. Then they carried out 3 activities which supported their learning on this topic. The children were so well behaved and they made us really proud. Well done Year 1!
