Hello Year One,
It was great to see so many of you at the zoom meeting. In school we have been enjoying finishing our animal project. we have learned so many facts about animals!
It has been a very hot week! We haven't been able to spend the whole lunch break outside because of the high temperatures.
We miss those of you who are learning from home, but I hope you have been enjoying the projects. next week we will begin a new topic 'The Rainforest.' There is so much to learn and it is a fascinating project. Don't forget to send me your work. Please look on the class page for the lessons I have recorded for you. This week there is and English and maths lesson, plus a chat about the rainforest.
I hope you enjoy the lessons. I play them in the class room too as the children like responding to them.

Hello Year One,
The weather has not been great this week , but I hope you enjoyed the storm. The plants, grass and trees were desperate for rain too!
When you look at the class page you will see that we will be continuing with the 'Animal' project next week. There was so much to learn. There are so many good videos on 'you tube' if you want to watch them.
The class page also has 2 video lessons that I have made for those of you at home. I hope you enjoy them!
I will also catch up with those of you at home on Tuesday, when we have our zoom meeting.

Hello Year One,
Today the sun has come out today which is lovely. I hope you are all keeping well and enjoying the weather.
It was great to see some of you on zoom last week. It has also been lovely to receive children's work. I am amazed at how much progress is being made.
I hope you enjoyed the last project and are becoming familiar with this week's topic 'Animals.' The children at school seemed really excited to learn about animals in greater detail.
There will not be a zoom meeting this week, but I will schedule one with you for next week.

Hello Year One,
I hope you have all enjoyed the ,My Family' project this week. It has been lovely to see some of you here at school, but I do miss those of you that are home schooling. Don't forget if there are any queries about the work that I have set, let me know.
Next week we will be starting a project about our local area. The way the plans are laid out are a little different. I have written a list of different tasks and activities. You don't have to do them all! Pick and choose a variety of different tasks. The maths will either be from maths seeds or from The National Academy. The website address is on the class page.

Yesterday I had confirmation that zoom meetings can commence from next week. I will confirm dates and times when I have that information. The meetings will be every other week, beginning next week. I am aware that a couple of classes did a zoom catch up this week, I can only apologise for not doing one , but we were told that there would be no zoom meetings this week.
