Good Evening,
On Thursday, the children really enjoyed their visit from North Herts Museum’. They had the opportunity to play with a huge variety of toys from the past that included wooden toys, hoopla's, optical toys, roll the penny, moving toys and peg dolls. Some of the toys were over 100 years old and it was lovely to see the children so engaged and excited to play with these historical artefacts. I hope you enjoy the pictures below.
Next week
English – the
children will plan and write their own version of the story ‘I want my hat back.’
Theirs will be called ‘I want my friend back.’
Maths – we
will start our new topic on shapes, looking at 2D and 3D shapes
PSHE – The
children will continue exploring the topic ‘Celebrating Difference’ by thinking
about people who they can talk to if they are feeling unhappy or bullied.
Art- The
children will create a drawing in the style of L.S. Lowry.
Geography
–The children will carry out some field working, exploring what they can see in
the school grounds.
RE- The
children will continue learning about the religion of Islam.
