 Good evening,

The children have had a fun week practising for the Christmas performance. They are very excited to perform to an audience!

In English, the children planned and began writing their own version of the story ‘I Want My Hat Back’. They have come up with amazing ideas for the object they want back which include: Christmas trees, headphones, teddies and gloves. I can’t wait to read their completed stories.

In Maths, the children begin their new topic based on 2D and 3D shapes. They began by naming, describing and sorting 3D shapes and towards the end of the week they began looking at 2D shape.

Good Evening,

On Thursday, the children really enjoyed their visit from North Herts Museum’. They had the opportunity to play with a huge variety of toys from the past that included wooden toys, hoopla's, optical toys, roll the penny, moving toys and peg dolls. Some of the toys were over 100 years old and it was lovely to see the children so engaged and excited to play with these historical artefacts. I hope you enjoy the pictures below.
