Good Evening Everyone,
We’ve had a very busy week
and the children have worked so hard. In English, they are really enjoying their
learning based on the book ‘Hello Mr Postmouse.’ In Maths they have been
doubling and subtracting on a number line and by counting backwards. In RE,
they learnt all about Ramadan and in Geography they have been exploring compass
directions. I shared the mnemonics ‘Naughty Elephants Squirt Water’ to help the
children remember the compass points. I was so impressed that some children
were able to come up with their own mnemonics. Also, well done to all the
children who presented their learning in the sharing assembly on Monday.
Next Week:
Maths- The children will be
finding the difference, exploring number facts and solving missing number
problems.
