 Good morning,

In English, the children have been writing free-verse poems. They used amazing vocabulary and phrases to describe an animal and a colour of their choice.

In Maths, the children finished their topic based on Money. They learnt about coins, notes and their value. They all counted different amounts of money.

In Geography, the children finished their topic called ‘What is Shanghai like?’

In RE, the children thought and wrote about the special ‘gifts’ in their lives. They were so thoughtful and came up with some lovely ideas that included their family, friends and home.

The children didn’t receive any physical reading books to take home this week as we are collecting them all in preparation for the summer holidays. I have uploaded the books onto the e-library and I will upload another book next week.

Next week:

Maths- The children will be learning about time.

English- The children will continue to explore free-verse poetry and vocabulary building.

D&T- The children will be making a fruit salad. Please let me know if there are any allergies or dietary requirements.
