We’ve had a very busy and very enjoyable week in Year 1!
In English, the children have
been learning about non-fiction texts through the book ‘Bats’ by Megan Cullis.
They have been identifying the features, summarising information and generating

Notes:
Reading
Can you please ensure that
you comment in your child’s reading record each week. It would be great if
reading books and logs could be returned to school by Wednesday as it gives us
a chance to comment on their reading that week. Thank you.
We hope you have a fantastic
weekend
