Good evening,
The children have had a fun
week practising their dances and songs for the Christmas performance. They are
very excited to perform to an audience!
In English, the children
finished their non-fiction unit based on the book ‘Plenty of love to go
around’. They wrote labels, lists, captions and explored the features of
non-fiction books. In Phonics, the children have been reviewing the Phase 5
graphemes and tricky words they have learnt so far during this half term.
NEXT WEEK
English: The children will
begin their new unit based on the book ‘The Jolly Christmas Postman’ by Janet
& Allan Ahlberg.
Maths: The children will
continue to focus on addition and number bonds to 10.
RE: The children will be
writing about Hannukah.

children will be making brochures for the audience.

If your child is a Backing
Singer in the Christmas Production, we would be grateful if you could provide:
• A party outfit (it can be Christmas themed, glittery or
colourful)
If your child is a Nazareth
Townsperson in the Christmas Production, we would be grateful if you could
provide:
• School trousers or skirt
• A checked shirt or top
