 Good afternoon,

The children have worked very hard this week. On Monday, we had our first sharing assembly. Well done to the children who stood up in front of the whole school and talked about their amazing work.

On Wednesday, the children had an assembly about Remembrance Day. They took part in a one-minute silence today at 11am where they were reverent and reflective.

Half Term project

This term we are studying castles in History. For your half term project, we would like you to create your own castle. Please feel free to be as imaginative as you would like! This could be a model, no bigger than a shoe box, or a drawing up to A3 in size. You could include some of the following features:

·       moat

·       drawbridge

·       high walls

·       turrets

·       battlements

·       towers

·       portcullis

If you have any questions about this project, please do not hesitate to come and see me. The completed project needs to be returned to school on Monday 8th January 2024.

We can’t wait to see your completed castle!

We wish you all a happy and relaxing weekend.
